In February, when Roc Brewing and the F.L.X. Wienery announced they’d be teaming up downtown, the optimistic goal was to have the renovated and expanded space at 56 S. Union Street ready for Roc Brewing’s ninth anniversary party on June 6. What happened next is no surprise: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, construction slowed and the party didn’t happen. But the new concept moved ahead, albeit at a slower pace, and The F.L.X. Wienery at Roc Brewing Co. opens Thursday.
